For stripping both the jacket and buffer coatings from duplex or simplex fiberoptic cable. Strips both single mode and multimode fiber. Two sets of jacket removal notches will remove jackets used on most fiberoptic cable. Set of V-notches closest to the pivot of the tool will strip the various layers of buffer coatings used on most fiberoptic cable.-First set of stripping notches at the tip of the removes 2.0mm jacket.
-Second set of stripping notches removes 3.0mm jacket.
-Third set of stripping notches removes buffer coatings down to the
125micron fiber.
